"Staff seriously ruined the visit"
We stopped in with a couple of simple questions about tickets and where we should start, the people at the desk acted like we were a huge inconvenience.

One of them just gave this lazy little point, mumbled a short answer, and wandered off like some useless gatekeeper. No clear info, no real help, just attitude for no reason.

The falls themselves were really nice, but the staff made the whole experience way more annoying than it needed to be. I wasn’t expecting royal treatment, just basic help from people who don’t act like rude clowns.

"Heads up: not as pet friendly as it sounds"
Just a heads up for anyone planning to bring a dog here, I went in thinking it would be a comfortable pet-friendly spot, but it really didn’t feel that way once we got there. It was crowded, the paths were narrow, and there wasn’t much room to pause without feeling like we were blocking people.
The staff also didn’t seem especially welcoming about dogs, which made the whole visit more stressful than fun. Maybe it would be okay with a tiny dog or one that’s extremely calm, but for us it was not worth the drive. I definitely wouldn’t come back with a dog.

"Bathrooms Could Be Cleaner"
The place was okay overall, but the bathrooms were sorta gross and could really use a good cleaning. Some of the paths also seemed like they need fixing, which made getting around a bit annoying.

"Kind of disappointing for the price"
I went in thinking it would be a easy walk around the falls, but the trails felt more neglected than I expected. Maybe I caught it on a bad day, I don’t know, but there were a lot of muddy areas, some loose boards, and the signs weren’t super helpful. For what they charge, I guess I just expected the paths to be in better shape. It ended up being more frustrating than relaxing, and I’m not sure I’d go back unless they put some work into fixing the trails...

"Quick visit, but getting transferred was annoying"
The visit itself was over way faster than I expected, which was nice, but the whole process was frustrating because I kept getting transferred around. It felt like nobody really knew where to send me, and that kind of ruined the experience.

"Parking Frustration Set the Tone"
I still remember how frustrating the parking was. We drove around forever trying to find a spot, and the signs weren’t much help at all. It felt so crowded that by the time we finally got inside, I was already irritated and kind of drained. Not the best way to start the visit.

"Not Really Worth the Stop"
We stopped in the gift shop after seeing the falls, i can't say it wasn't disappointing. A lot of the stuff seemed way overpriced for what it was, and some of the shelves were messy, like nobody had bothered to straighten them up. The cashier wasn't exactly friendly either and kind of rushed us along. We ended up leaving without buying anything, and I wouldn't go out of my way to stop in there again.

"Bad Timing for a Tough Walk"
I probably picked the worst time to go, because I wasn’t really ready for how much walking and climbing there would be. There were way more steep steps and rough paths than I expected, and it felt more exhausting than enjoyable. The signs weren’t very helpful either, so that made it a bit frustrating. If you’re not in decent shape, I’d think twice before going

"Trying to buy tickets online was so frustrating..."
Trying to buy tickets online was so frustrating. The site kept glitching, the checkout process made no sense, and I had to start over twice because it just wouldn’t work properly. This was completely on them, and it turned what should’ve been a quick purchase into an annoying waste of time

"Not worth the price for me"
In my opinion, it felt way too expensive for what you actually get. The views were basic to me, so I personally didn’t feel like the cost was justified...

"Beautiful in moments, but not really worth the trip"
I really wanted to love this place, and at first I was excited because, I mean, it’s waterfalls and the photos looked amazing. But once we got there, the vibe kind of shifted. It was super crowded, hard to actually stop and enjoy the view, and a few areas felt either blocked off or like you had to keep moving. There were definitely moments, but then I’d get frustrated again trying to find a good spot to see anything. For the drive and the price, I expected a lot more. I left feeling kind of let down, even though part of me still wanted to appreciate it.

My first impression was really positive because it’s a nice place to walk around and enjoy the area. But once we got hungry, the food options were disappointing. There wasn’t much to choose from, mostly basic fried food and candy, and the prices felt way too high for what you get. We bought a few small things and still left hungry. For a place that gets this many visitors, I expected better. I’d definitely recommend bringing your own snacks if you can...

Not saying it’s a scam, but the ticket prices feel overpriced. I was interested at first, but once I saw the total cost, it made me think twice about going.

"Website Hours Were Incorrect"
We checked the hours listed on the site before going, but when we got there, they turned out to be wrong. It was frustrating and ended up wasting our time. Personally, I’d make sure to call ahead next time instead of relying on the website...

"We went there planning to have lunch after..."
We went there planning to have lunch after our walk, but the picnic area was packed and didn’t seem managed very well. There wasn’t any clear info beforehand, which was frustrating since we’d brought food and had the kids with us. If we’d known, we would’ve gone somewhere else. Not sure we’ll bother coming back if it’s going to be like that.

The trails themselves were actually fine, and I had no real complaints there. But the restrooms? Yikes. They smelled awful, there was no soap, and the floors were wet everywhere. For what they charge to get in, I was disappointed. Like, keeping bathrooms clean and stocked shouldn’t be this complicated.

"Zero flexibility when plans changed"
We ended up having to cancel our trip, and the refund option was pretty much useless. I understand places need policies, but for a family day out, it felt way too rigid. Things happen — weather turns, kids get sick, plans fall apart. When I contacted customer service, it felt like they just copy-pasted the policy back at me instead of actually trying to help. Really frustrating, and I probably won’t book in advance again.

Bushkill Falls is definitely pretty, and I can see why people want to visit. The trails and waterfalls were nice, and it could’ve been a really relaxing day. But when we went, it was absolutely packed. There were lines, people stopping in the middle of paths, and pretty much no quiet spots to just enjoy the scenery. It felt more like being in a busy theme park than out in nature. I’m glad we saw it, but with the crowds and the drive, I’m not sure it was worth it for us...

the place seemed nice, but the lines were just way too long. We spent more time waiting around than actually enjoying anything, and by the end I was frustrated. It really took away from the whole visit for me

"The rails felt sketchy and I…"
The rails felt sketchy and I didn’t feel comfortable the whole time. I left feeling uneasy, and when I brought it up, the response felt like one of those canned apologies companies copy and paste instead of actually listening. Not a great experience.
